Parliament Special Session HIGHLIGHTS: Members of Parliament on Monday discussed?"Parliamentary Journey of 75 years starting from Samvidhan Sabha -- Achievements, Experiences, Memories and Learnings" in the old building of the Parliament marking the last discussion in the building.?Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the achievements of Indians are being discussed everywhere and this is the result of united efforts during the 75 years of the history of the country’s Parliament. Speaking in the Lok Sabha on Day 1 of the Special Session, PM Modi initiated the discussion on the ‘Parliamentary journey of 75 years starting from Samvidhan Sabha – achievements, experiences, memories and learnings'.?PM Modi also highlighted India's Chandrayaan-3 mission, the unprecedented success of its G20 presidency, and several landmark decisions taken in the old Parliament building.?Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi said a total of eight bills have been listed for consideration and passage during the session. Though there is no official word on any probable new legislation, speculations are rife?that a bill to ensure quota for women in elected legislatures like Lok Sabha and state assemblies is likely to be?tabled.?
