Lok?Sabha?Elections 2024:?Prime Minister Narendra Modi campaigned in West Bengal's Mathurapur today (May 29). The leaders across several political parties have shifted their focus to the seats going to polls in the seventh and final phase on June 1 (Saturday).

BJP receiving massive support from Bengal

"The support for the BJP across West Bengal is at an all-time high. The affection of the people here is exceptional," said PM Modi while addressing the public gathering today.?“Yesterday evening, the people of Kolkata showed their huge support to me during my roadshow. I can never forget it. Your love gives the clear message - ‘Phir Ek Baar, Modi Sarkaar’. This is my last gathering in Bengal for the 2024 election. I will go to Odisha and Punjab. The campaign will end tomorrow evening. I feel blessed that I got to witness your love today”, said PM Modi.

“India has begun to move on the path to become ‘Viksit Bharat’ and for that, a ‘Viksit Bengal’ is important. To make that possible, you need to vote for an MP with the same vision. Therefore, I need your blessings,” said PM Modi.

TMC?attacking Constitution for appeasement?

?

During a public rally in Mathurapur, PM Modi said, "For appeasement, TMC is attacking the Constitution. By snatching away rights of OBCs, reservation is being given to Muslims. Calcutta High Court has cancelled these certificates. On June 1 with your vote, we will start the new journey of 'Viksit Bengal'. Today, infiltrators are grabbing the opportunities meant for the youth of Bengal. The whole nation is worried that the demography has changed in border areas of the state. Why did they protest against CAA? Because they want to settle the infiltrators here."

2024 Lok Sabha polls are different in many ways

PM Modi said, "This is my last election rally in West Bengal for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. This election is different in many ways- it is led by the people of the country from Kashmir to Kanniyakumari because they have seen the development journey of the past 10 years and 60 years of misery".

TMC not able to tolerate people's love for BJP: PM Modi?

PM Modi mentioned that TMC is compromising with national security by allowing unchecked infiltration from West Bengal's borders. PM guaranteed Indian citizenship to Matua community members with the respect that's due to them.

PM added that TMC goons are launching attacks on Bharat Sevashram, Ramakrishna Mission establishments in Bengal. TMC forbidding implementation of central schemes for fishermen, Ujjwala gas, Ayushman Bharat.?

“TMC and people of INDI alliance are taking the Bengal in the opposite direction. They aren’t able to tolerate your love for the BJP. They are very nervous. TMC has only one weapon- ‘Eta Hote Debona’ (won't let this happen). They say this is against the work of development being done by Modi. We made a helpline and they say the same thing,” said PM Modi while addressing a rally in Mathurapur.
