Prime Minister Narendra Modi released the 18th instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, providing Rs 20,000 crore to 9.4 crore farmers, reinforcing the government's commitment to agricultural support and rural development.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate multiple projects while he will also lay the foundation of multiple others, including a section of Mumbai Metro and Thaner Ring Road Rail project among others. The PM will also release the eighteenth instalment of Kisan Samman Nidhi.
Launched in February 2019, the PM Kisan Yojana provides an annual financial benefit of Rs 6,000 to landholding farmers, disbursed in three equal installments.
Under the PM-KMY scheme, eligible farmers of small and marginal land holdings up to two hectares are eligible for benefits.
As part of the PM-KISAN scheme, the eligible beneficiaries get Rs 2,000 every four months, which is Rs 6,000 annually.
The event was attended by Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and several State Ministers.

PM Kisan 16th instalment released: The 16th instalment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-Kisan) has been released, providing Rs. 2,000 to eligible farmers. Under the scheme, farmers receive Rs. 6,000 annually in three instalments, disbursed every four months via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
Scheduled for 4:30 pm at Bhari, the program will witness the release of benefits under the PM KISAN scheme, inauguration of the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya statue, and distribution of Ayushman cards.
